Volunteers needed for opera lecture series

Opera NOVA is looking for volunteers to be part of a series of talks on opera to audiences of  Community Seniors, Members of Opera NOVA, and  Residents at Culpepper Gardens, a senior living center in Arlington. Be part of Opera NOVA’s quest to” democratize access” to opera,. to achieve universal access to America’s cultural arts.

Lecturers would create their own lecture or lectures on some aspect of opera---- Why it is so popular, Why it got so costly. What is their favorite opera.  What is their favorite aria.  Of course, these volunteer opportunities would be good for those who enjoy opera themselves and simply want to share it with others. Of course these opportunities are good for individuals who love opera and engage in the study of it as a hobby are especially welcome.
