Established in honor of Jenn Lawson, who lost her life in 2014, the Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation serves economically vulnerable mothers and babies by working to increase access to high-quality maternal and infant care and support. Jennifer was a loving, dedicated mother of three, driven to advocacy after receiving high-quality care during her own complicated pregnancies. JB-LF seeks to embody her generous spirit by giving all mothers and newborns the means to thrive.

The mission of Just Neighbors is to provide high-quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, asylees and refugees in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia; and, to build community among clients, staff, volunteers and the larger society through education, advocacy, and volunteerism.

LCAC helps tp prevent homelessness by offering emergency financial assistance for rent or mortgage, as well as utilities. The importance of keeping individuals and families safe, stable environment cannot be over-emphasized, since the steadiness of " a place to call home" impacts all aspects of a family's life from employment to a child's performance in school.
