Rock Recovery is a faith-based nonprofit in the D.C. area that works to bridge therapy gaps and ensure all people can access and afford mental health treatment. We provide group and individual eating disorder therapy at sliding scale rates to those in need of treatment. Our community empowerment programs educate groups on the realities of eating disorders, and enhances the ability of our community to support those suffering. Unique in Arlington, the Ronda Gilliam Clothing Bank freely gives donated clothing, shoes, bedding and towels, books and toys, and kitchen items to children, women and men. Open Wednesdays 1 to 3 and Saturdays 9:30 to 12:30.

Rosie Riveters provides a fun space for girls ages 4-14 to imagine, create, and play while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Our goal is to engage and inspire girls in STEM and equip them with an enduring growth mindset.

The Mission of Safe Places is to provide families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence with safety and shelter while empowering them to break the cycle and live free of abuse. We provide 24-month transitional housing to families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence. We provide access to voluntary strength-based case management that includes: individual financial counseling, affordable housing search assistance, referrals for services, education assistance and much more.

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) of Northern Virginia is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the well-being of children, improve parent-child relations and prevent child abuse and neglect by:

EDUCATING the community about the scope, nature and consequences of child abuse and neglect and the importance of positive, nurturing parenting;
