The Costume lab, part of Arlington Cultural Affairs, is charged with fostering a creative environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and community participation. We do this by providing material support to artists, and arts organizations, in the form of grants, facilities, and theater technology; through a commitment to integrating award-winning Public Art into our built environment; and with high-quality performing, literary, visual, and new media programs across the County.

The Arlington County Fair is one of the largest free events on the East Coast and has been providing quality entertainment for 40 years. In recent years, attendance has reached 84,000 as people come from Arlington and the DC metro area to enjoy competitive exhibits, midway rides and games, entertainment, vendors, and more. The mission of the Arlington County Medical Reserve Corps (ACMRC) is to assist the Arlington County Public Health Division during public health emergencies and community disasters; promote public health education, and support ongoing public health initiatives and programs.

Public health promotes and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work and play.
While a doctor treats people who are sick, those of us working in public health try to prevent people from getting sick or injured in the first place. We also promote wellness by encouraging healthy behaviors.

Our mission is to provide for the education and employment related needs of limited English proficient adults who live and work in Arlington. Since its inception in 1975, REEP has helped more than 90,000 adult English language learners from more than 90 countries. Our students come to us with the general goal of improving English in order to adjust to American society, but our services impact their lives as learners, citizens, family members, and workers.

Arlington Free Clinic provides free, high-quality medical care to low-income, uninsured Arlington County adults through the generosity of donors and volunteers.

AHOME is a non-profit that provides free homeownership education classes and pre-purchase counseling to first time home buyers in Arlington County and our surrounding communities.  AHOME provides free foreclosure prevention counseling to homeowners in Arlington County.
