Internship Opportunity: Fundraising and Development - BEST Kids is looking for an unpaid Summer Intern (Approx. May – August) to help support our preparation efforts for BEST Kids 7th Annual Art of the Matter fundraising event taking place in late September, 2018.
This intern will be responsible for:
· Conducting community outreach to solicit items and donations from local businesses for the fall event.
· Coordinating event logistics and outreach.
· Providing the Executive Director additional fundraising and development support throughout the summer.
· Assisting on various administrative tasks throughout the office.
This position will be unpaid, and will require 10-20 hours a week; hours are flexible. Our office is located at 1212 4thSt. SE Suite 201, Washington, DC which is metro accessible.

Internship Opportunity: Event Management - Do you enjoy the excitement and pressure associated with special events? Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in the event management and non-profit industry? Inova Health Foundation is pleased to offer the Event Management Internship Program. This experience will provide the opportunity to assist the Special Events Department with a variety of fundraisers, golf tournaments and receptions, in particular, its signature events the Inova Honors Dinner, and the Inova Summit Weekend. In addition, our intern will learn valuable skills in event coordination, time management, multi-tasking and marketing/communications, as well as gain an understanding of not-for-profit fundraising.
