Energy Masters Training
APPLY TO BE AN ENERGY MASTER VOLUNTEER!
The Energy Masters program trains community volunteers in energy efficiency and water conservation techniques through an intensive seven-session training program. After completing the training, volunteers make repairs and basic energy and water efficiency upgrades in affordable housing units in Arlington County and the City of Alexandria. Adult volunteers can receive certification after contributing 25 hours of community service. Students, at least 16 years or older, are required to provide 20 hours of service. The next training starts in October. Volunteers generally serve their hours between December and June following training.
